Our research group’s overarching goal is to help advance programs and policies for improving safe drinking water access, sanitation, and public health. We conduct applied primary and secondary research on drinking water quality, treatment, and supply, wastewater-based surveillance and epidemiology, and associated exposures and health outcomes, with a focus on rural and lower-income populations. Our research projects are developed and conducted in partnership and collaboration with government agencies, international institutions, utilities, non-profits, and universities in the United States and internationally.
